In the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon, one of the most renowned winter stations, the project ''LE PARC' covers a 9 hectares site.
The total scope encompasses both hotel development, such as the refurbishment of the 5-star hotel ''Grand Hôtel du Parc', which will include serviced residences, and the implementation of apartments and chalets.
The outstanding architectural setting, mindful of integration, will enhance the ''Villars' style, inspired by local architecture, involving natural materials as stone and wood.
The high quality services provided by the innovative concept of the hotel, local shops and restaurants, which are all directly connected to the village, will be accessible to all residents, who will also enjoy the indoors swimming pool and its beautiful outdoor lagoon.
A congress and seminar centre of more than 1,700 sqm., combined with a wellness and rehabilitation centre of 3,500 sqm., both working in partnership with the hotel, will boost the site throughout the year.
The project is faithful to our ''High environmental value' attitude. All aspects contribute to this view: sustainable architecture mindful of its coherent integration to the natural surroundings, achieved by the choice of forms, materials and technical solutions.
The selected materials initially respect the rules and processes that guarantee the sustainability of the building, quality of the environment and in a further stage prove to be highly recyclable when submitted to renovations.
The techniques applied in the project integrate all solutions designed to control the consumption of energy resources (gas, electricity, water,.) and to promote the use of renewable energy.
Integration to the surroundings is one of the project's main objectives.
From this point of view, much more can be done to improve the centre of Villars-sur-Ollon, such as landscaping studies, improvement of the urban lighting or integration of additional parking spaces.
The global concept developed throughout the whole site is based on the notion of 'well-being', which materialises through the outstanding setting, well-thought fittings and exceptional services, all contributing to create a genuine art of living.
